The Morningthorpe Recycling Centre will close permanently from Sunday 1 November 2026, with the final day of operation being Saturday 31 October 2026. The closure follows the expiry of the site’s lease, which the landowner has confirmed cannot be extended. The nearest alternative site is Norwich South Recycling Centre, which has capacity to accommodate additional visitors and accepts a wider range of materials.
